And you'll take my hand, And we'll fade. Come with me, my love, We'll erase.
2.
We are waiting while the people fall. We are dying in our existence. And who heard the call of bleeding hands? Who casually laughed with the crowd? Channel surf the wounded away. Everybody is waiting for somebody to make a move. Everybody is waiting for you to tell them what to do. And in trying to figure out what to do, I daydream of what I'm going to. Thinking "Why should I try? Why should I care? Why do I turn on the news? Why do I do anything but stare?"
3.
The reflection of his eyes, Dark and empty. Pictures rolling of the sky, Faintly. In the landscape of his mind, Spiders, family. And the help is polarized. I swear I've seen you smile. I've seen you turn your eye. So don't call me a liar, Again. Hold me closely (tightly my hand), Never cease. I need (comfort and) family, 'Cuz the TV is a leech. (Just out of reach) Standing on the isle, For the darkening of the sky, And the disappearing smile. As I swiftly leave the room, Sudden, empty, Just as quickly to the womb.

Goodbye 06:30
I sing this lullaby, A way to pass the time. I'm finding I don't know, What's left inside. And you, You've fallen right into, A life that's so brand new, Where everyone's all smiles. You've got nothing to hide. In a soft light, You're side by side. Patterns and shadows and sky. I reflected in discontent, When she walked through the door, And I stared. But I dropped my gaze as she looked around the room. Should I go back? And you, (And the moment slipped away) You've fallen right into, (She paid for her coffee and turned from me) A life that's so brand new, Where everyone's a liar. You've got nothing to hide. In a soft light, You're side by side. Patterns and shadows and sky. Is this goodbye?
